What is a spread?

Last Updated: Jun 21, 2018 08:01AM UTC
The spread is the difference between the "Sell" price and the "Buy" price of an instrument. For example, if Apple's share CFD is traded at 121.50 / 121.58, it means that you can sell the share at 121.50 or buy it at 121.58. The spread in this case is 8 pips.
